Mission Statement
The mission of the Susquenita School District Library Media program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information. We strive to teach our students how to find relevant library materials successfully and independently, and then how to use them effectively. Equally important, we also want to instill and foster a genuine enjoyment in using library resources, both fiction and non-fiction, print and non-print.
Our students also need to become more and more skilled in evaluating and filtering the huge amount of information that is available to us all. Information increases and changes by the minute, so the ability to efficiently evaluate it needs to become an automatic process for students.
Getting into the habit of reading and learning can provide a lifetime of tremendous satisfaction and enjoyment.....and, of course, will also inevitably lead to many future successes!
